Role Summary: The Commercial Process Support Leader is expected to lead the development, standardisation and adoption of commercial process and tools across DS partnering with the regions to ensure each region can optimise their operations from customer inquiry through to cash collection. The Commercial Process Support Leader will engage in global improvement projects as well as product line partnerships to drive best in class performance for each region. Essential Responsibilities: In the role of Commercial Process Support Leader , you will execute the BPO plan for processes you are responsible, which includes but are not limited to: T&C Standard Application, Quotation/ Bid Process, Customer Screening, Flow Order Entry, Project Order Entry, E Commerce Maintenance, Order Management, Contract Management, Customer Master Data, Pricing, Returns & Repairs Processing/Coordination Implement a global template for the business processes to all regions which will include all aspects of the commercial process not solely the use of tools Look for opportunities to develop and share best in class processes between regions and improve the global template Work cross functionally within the BPO structure to ensure we are delivering process that meet our true business needs Develop business KPI's and reports within the process that you own Support Data Governance strategy through ongoing learnings with the regional teams Train & assist users on processes, transactions, etc. Facilitate the User acceptance testing and provide sign off's Change Agent to drive system and process adoption Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college Many years of sales, commercial, or corporate finance experience with progressively increasing scope and responsibility Experience successfully leading cross-functional projects and process improvement; able to quickly grasp new ideas Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex information in a easy to understand manner; able to deliver message effectively verbally and in writing Desired Characteristics: Has customer-centric mindset; proven ability to challenge status quo and influence cross-functional and global counterparts to do what's right for the customer and bottom line. Highly analytical & curious with previous experience in Sales & Commercial operations Able to clearly identify and link relevant data to performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change Previous experience of influencing business change in large organisations, with a focus on driving people change during technology, process and organisational transformation Proven track record of planning, designing and deploying training and communication directives in relation to process and tool changes Proven ability to put communication at the heart of Business and People Change principles Proven track record of working closely with project leaders in complex, distributed environments to drive business and people change Robust knowledge and understanding of enterprise processes and systems (e.g. ERPs, CRMs, MRPs etc..) spanning across key operational functions such as Finance, Projects Commercial and Supply Chain Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions to approach business leaders with difficult messages, defend position & drive change Enjoy supporting user groups through change Experience working in global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows.
