The role of Manager Shell Health BeNeFrux is to guide the BeNeFrux Health organisation through change, and implementing a continuous improvement way of working and mindset. This in a complex matrix organisation and multiple internal interfaces across the company. The aim is to establish Shell Health as a reliable business partner that is recognised to add value, and to contribute to the leadership and strategies of the ERCIS region (Europe, Russia & CIS). To do this, the Manager will need to translate and align global goals and strategies into local goals and strategies across the BeNeFrux region. Obviously, this can only be done by excellent stakeholder management skills (especially considering that the Shell Headquarters is based in The Netherlands), and embracing technology and innovation for continuous improvement in terms of quality, efficiency and effectiveness. The Manager is expected to provide a range of health services to employees and businesses in the BeNeFrux geographic area, as a single point of accountability. The Manager will be the contract holder for national health service providers, including the quality assurance of these services. They will be responsible for pushing the quality of service delivery and continuous cost improvement. The Manager will vigorously ensure compliance with relevant health legislations in the BeNeFrux region and with legislative occupational health requirements (including internal and external data privacy requirements). This will require broad stakeholder management capabilities aiming at internal and external parties. Also the Manager will be the health focal point for various external stakeholders such as the government, NGO's, insurers, and local communities. The Manager will assume responsibility for line management and adherence/improvement of the budget of the BeNeFrux Health organization. They will deliver the agreed upon health agenda using standardised tools and processes and with a focus on (reporting) tangible outcome. The Manager will provide the business with broad health support in projects, safety journeys, reputation management, crisis situations and people focused initiatives from NL management and HR. The manager will be able to do so by his or her experience with healthcare management, preferably originally as a medical doctor or healthcare professional. They will anticipate and inform businesses about legislative health developments with (potential) business impact. There is much to gain by better embedding Human Performance and Care in the businesses in the region, which requires a broad culture change - both at the businesses and at Shell Health. Also, they will be responsible for alignment and/or compliance with Group health standards, procedures, and processes. The Manager will lead a management team of approx. 3 direct reports and approximately. 36 indirect reports. Leading the team will mean a focus on cooperation, trust and, efficiency. But as important are team and individual development, growth and well-being. The Manager will drive a change agenda with an emphasis on capability and skill building, on continuous improvement and b2b mindset and effective and flexible collaboration. They will improve delivery and performance processes. By empowering people to take on individual accountability. In short, making Shell health a great place to work. The annual budget amounts to roughly EUR 9 million. Requirements Extensive leadership experience in health organisations.
