Roles and Responsibilities: This role is an excellent opportunity to work on the latest digital technologies and innovations in Shell which serve as direct enablers of Shell's Digital journey. The role is part of PT SOM - Technology & Digital organization, within IT Services and Operations (ITSO). The aim of the digital platform is to provide differentiating digital and IT capabilities (products & services) in emerging technologies as a major competitive advantage for Shell. Digitalization domains for this role include but may not be limited to Data Science / Advanced Analytics, Digital Realities (AR/VR), Blockchain, Robotics, Mobility, Industrial Mobility, Industrial Internet of Things & Sensors, and other emerging Digitalization areas. Digitalization Service Assurance Analyst works closely with Digital Centers of Excellence, Innovation teams, Project delivery groups, Architects, Support teams, and other functions such as Information Risk Management and Contracting & Procurement to ensure IT operational requirements are identified, evaluated, and satisfied prior to handover of new technologies and services to Run & Maintain organization. New and emerging capabilities in Digitalization present a unique and interesting set of challenges as many are delivered through vendors and technologies which may not be "traditional IT". The Service Assurance Analyst plays a key role in evaluating specifics of a new technology solutions and services and ensures the right deployment rigor is followed and appropriate service management aspects are implemented. Handover activities and deliverables include but may not be limited to support models (processes, tools, people), support cost estimates, knowledge transfer plan, license management details or plan, Service Tiers / SLAs, compliance checks, business impact assessment, functional approvals, and others. In addition, the Analyst will act as an advisor to projects on supportability considerations throughout the deployment lifecycle, which requires knowledge of Enterprise and Global Processes, in particular enterprise Supportability & Transition Management process. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Mandatory • Very strong interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written. • Ability to evaluate and capture solution non-functional requirements. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to identify and analyse dependencies across different solution and services aspects and apply a logical approach in resolving them with relevant stakeholders. • Experience in Project Management, specifically Waterfall or Agile / Scrum methodologies. • Must have solid stakeholder management and influencing skills. Ability to deal with different opinions in a rational, factual, composed, and respectful manner. • Manage stakeholder engagements and competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects. • Excellent planning and organising skills - must be able to independently plan, track and report own activities and activities of others. Effective time management and due diligence. • Technical foundation skills or experience (e.g., Cloud services such as Azure or AWS, APIs, PaaS/SaaS, Access Management, Authentication / SAML, etc.). • Experience or knowledge of service management and solution delivery approaches (e.g., ITIL, DevOps, CI/CD, etc.) • Ability to quickly learn new technical concepts. Naturally curious about new technologies and able to quickly understand new technical solutions. • Must be able to learn, keep up to date with, and apply standard Shell Enterprise and Global processes where applicable. In particular Enterprise Supportability & Transition Management process. • Establishing and maintaining professional credibility with personal integrity. Preferred • Experience with Shell Supportability & Transition Management framework (S&TM) • Experience with Shell Project Delivery Framework (PDF) • Experience with one or more of the following domains: Analytics, Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Vision, Blockchain, Robotics, IoT, Mobile Applications development. • Experience or exposure to License Management (licensing schemes, costing, tiers, etc.). • Understanding of Cost Modelling - infrastructure, licensing, R&M maintain costs analysis and build-up. • Experience in setup and/or operation of IT infrastructure and applications support. • Experience in process modelling, specifically support processes development and documentation. • Experience in Asset Management and Release Management.
