Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of IT Business Analyst located in DUO Tower, Singapore through April 10, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to: 1st and 2nd level agile support of an integrated IT environment including a highly complex and critical Energy Trading and Risk Management platform and related operational systems/tools, providing assistance, advice or workaround, or verifying the operational status of user systems, tools and communications path Provides an initial assessment and monitor and escalation of incidents Categorises user queries into Incidents (fault/defect) or service request (assistance/query), looks to resolve where possible or escalate as appropriate to more experienced team members in Perth, Singapore, Houston or other locations (including Philippines, Malaysia and India) Works with other team members to understand resolutions in order to achieve greater self-sufficiency over time Communicates with users about the progress of their incidents or service requests Participates in engagement with Supply & Trading management and key users in Asia Pacific Region (Perth, Singapore, and Tokyo) to understand their needs, issues, projects and changing business conditions Collaborates with other IT colleagues to capture business requirements using Scaled Agile Frameworks; understands IT requirements generated by business strategies and operational requirements Works with developers, testers and architects to collaboratively deliver applications, interfaces and IT services to Trading operations; Ensures appropriate technical solutions meet business needs; participate in work plans for ongoing IT deliverables Proactively reviews and becomes familiar with all critical Supply and Trading applications (including Energy Components, RightAngle, Endur, OpenLink IRM, Colligo, Sharepoint) Proactive monitoring of application availability and interface operations, raising and managing incidents when required Runs system checks each morning to ensure all systems are working as they should be Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline (Commerce, Marketing, Economics, Business, Accounting, IT) 5-8 years' Business Analyst experience Experience in commodities, finance, trading support is preferred Relocation Options: Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.
