Description The role of the Customer Service Agent is to own and manage the customer experience. This includes proactively monitoring and managing the end-to-end shipment cycle in compliance with company procedures, ensuring that the cargo is transported as per the transport plan promised to the customer or keeping customers informed of relevant deviations. Key responsibilities •Give customers the incentive to ship more with us, by owning customer issues. •Receive and resolve customer queries. •Ensure all booking activities are completed in line with customer requirements. •Complete pro-active and self-initiated face to face visits with customers- to actively listen and understand the customer's needs and address specific areas of concern. •Identify ways in which cost effective value adding service can be provided to specific clients. •Handle specific shipment, transport plan and documentation exceptions, including keeping the customer informed. •Ensure that- penalty fees and Value-Added Service charges are raised where relevant. •Continuously serve as a focal for our e-commerce capabilities and new products with customers. •Provide commercial input and execute completion of agreed waivers. •Empowered to bring groups together to make decisions to improve the customer experience. •Be in control of the experience customers feel and become their trusted partner. •Network with customers and build relationships. •Work in a high performing and dynamic environment. •Own and improve customer satisfaction. •Unleash your analytical skills with state-of-the-art platforms that enable collaboration and long-term service improvements. •Work in a multifunctional workplace with international collaboration. •Take control of your targets and drive results. •Plan your own work schedule. We are looking for •At least 3 - 5 years' experience in the Logistics industry. •Excellent communication and presentation skills. •A change agent, always ready to try new initiatives, providing support to global and local initiatives. •Able to work independently and also as a team player. •Exhibit professionalism and friendliness. •Ability to solve problems adequately and to effectively set priorities. •Results driven with high level of integrity and trust. •High level of agility and adaptable to change. •Good command of written and spoken English. •Good stakeholder management skills.
