Key responsibilities

•To deliver customer experience in line with the Maersk brand, customer value proposition and guiding principles
•To build and maintain a diverse, engaged and high performing OTCS team
•To support the execution of the various OTCS export and import customer service processes as per global design
•To monitor assigned OTCS team's performance against KPIs and take corrective actions where necessary
•To drive the OTCS team's optimal performance primarily through continuous improvement, training and project management
•Proactively manage performance based on transparent KPI documentation and follow-through
•Drive the success of flagship projects, automation and standardization initiatives
•Generate and interpret data that can drive improvement in conjunction with process leads
•(Front Office & OTCS) as well as key GSC stakeholders (SIT, Export/Import Docs, other functions)
•Manage team workload distribution and structure to ensure consistent good performance
Competency Management and Coaching
•Monitor team member's performance against established KPIs and budgets; take corrective action when necessary and exceed where possible.
•Coach team members on situational problem solving, exception handling or on day-to-day production or performance issues
•Drive process- specific and technical skill trainings
•Own the relationship between OTCS team and front line (both Customer Service and Sales)
•Identify areas for improvement as well as opportunities to add value to the Maersk business whether within or outside the remit of OTCS
•Build and maintain a diverse, well-functioning team through consistent evaluation of team members' fit for the roles required in the OTCS team
•Ensure that company vision, values and ethics are upheld within the team at all times through setting an example and providing professional and/or technical support to the team

We are looking for

•University graduate or bearing similar professional qualification in the same or related field
•With relevant experience in shipping, BPO industry, or leadership
•Experience in handling Customer Service transactions/processes and dealing with direct customers preferred
•Ability to manage team performance according to strategy as well as execute migration activities
•With People Management skills and experience
•Can delegate and manage time effectively
•Has strong process and business knowledge
•Has strong change management mindset
•Has proven leadership skills
•With experience in handling export and import transactions/processes and/or dealing with direct customers/forwarders/brokers will be a plus
•Open to travel as and when it is needed
•With high Communication skills
•Open to Flexible WorkShift Arrangements (whether for Morning, Afternoon or Night Shifts)
