Key responsibilities

• Prepare Singapore income tax returns and computations
• Prepare response to tax authorities' queries and/or support tax audits as they arise in Singapore and the wider region
• Support the Regional Tax Compliance Management team in respect of compliance matters across the region
• Support transfer pricing issues, controls and documentation regionally
• Partner with businesses and project teams on commercial matters across the region
• Work closely with other tax function colleagues across Asia Pacific region and in European headquarter locations
• Keep abreast with developments in tax legislation regionally
• Provide tax training to business units

We are looking for

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5-6 years of Singapore corporate tax experience, good knowledge of shipping taxation will be an added advantage
• Singapore indirect tax experience would be welcome, but not essential
• Big 4 accounting firm experience
• South East Asia regional experience strongly favoured
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Independent, organised and self-starter individual
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
