We need a Service Designer (Product Design Strategist) to help shape this future.

Key responsibilities

You will apply your craft to facilitate a collaborative approach to prototype and define our future services, focusing on how our technology can shape and support that future.

As Product Design Strategist you'll use your Service Design experience and skills, and you will be expected to lead the facilitation of conceptual and detailed service design activities, and work confidently up and down the organisation.

You'll be part of a larger Maersk Design Community throughout the UK and Denmark, working alongside our product owners, interaction designers, design researchers, engineering teams, and more. You will conceptualise both incremental and disruptive change, supporting those concepts with evidence of viability and human centric design techniques.

This will be a knotty, challenging problem requiring system-level thinking. Your ability to coach and foster collaboration will be key, along with an ability to present and defend holistic concepts at the top and bottom of the organisation.

We are looking for

Have 3+ years delivering service design solutions, having strong leadership experience.
- Be a people person that builds strong relationships and recognises and incorporates the perspectives of others.
- Be able to shape the design approach appropriately for the context at hand.
- Deliver in line with the expectations you set, standing or falling as a complete team.
- Experienced in a well-functioning agile environment.
- Be as happy shaping the direction as you are mucking-in.
- Confidently and defensibly be able to present your direction.
- Believe in an evidence-based, continuous improvement culture.
- Be happy in an environment that is undergoing large change.
- Be flexible for some travel

We'd like you to provide a portfolio of service design work with your application that shows examples of your approach and way of working.
