Maersk is looking for the best Revenue Manager to join our Trade Management team based in Florham Park, NJ.
As Revenue Management Lead & Regional Head of Special Cargo product, you are responsible for executing on the overall trade strategy for Transpacific & Oceania exports from North America through short-term pricing and uptake management, to optimise utilisation and yield. Act as team lead, and have a shared responsibility to ensure continuous improvement of results and optimisation of revenue management models, processes and tools. The role includes responsibility for our Special Cargo Products (in-gauge, out of gauge special equipment) across Americas exports.

Key responsibilities

Have overall ownership for short-term pricing and uptake management for specific trade(s) for Ocean in Region
Optimise yield and utilisation through professional short-term pricing and uptake management
Monitor specific trade(s) targets, and ensure that such targets are met, particularly yield and utilisation

Be accountable for executing on Global Ocean strategy in trade(s)
Execute on specific trade(s) strategy, aligned with Global direction
Share market and customer insights with Global Ocean team, to be used for product and network development

As Senior Pricing Manager, manage short-term pricing (80% of role)
Be overall accountable for short-term pricing of ocean products
Actively participate in initiatives and projects, to ensure continuous optimisation of revenue management models, processes and tools

As team lead, lead a high-performing team with pricing and uptake management expertise for Ocean at Regional level (20% of role)
Attract, engage, develop and retain people with strong capabilities within Ocean trade, pricing and uptake management, and competition, market and customer insights

We are looking for

- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing, and/or Trade.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Deep trade and revenue acumen, commercial and operational.
- Decisiveness and drive for results, including being comfortable with and willing to take calculated risks.
- Strong stakeholder management and\u000Bconflict resolution.
- Resilience, ability to persist and adapt despite challenges.
- Leadership, able to motivate and inspire self and others through ambiguity and change, and be a role model for coaching and development.
- Strong data analysis skills.
