What we look for: An energetic self-starter with a flair to be able to conduct a variety of research involving significant initiative, thinking analysis, judgement and interaction with other people. A good understanding of LNG business with prior experience in Business Development and Sales. Someone, who has knowledge of commercial agreements with an ability to quickly understand and adapt complex commercial arrangements and think out of the box.
An in depth, understanding on Commercial / Economics experience of evaluation of Business Development opportunities is a distinct advantage.
Someone, who's okay with extensive travel within India and willingness to be available and flexible working hours.
Purpose & Accountabilities : • To identify short and long-term LNG sales opportunities for C&I segment, CGD companies, Fleet owners and State transport companies. Contribute to developing commercial, contractual and personal relationships, to facilitate the LNG marketing activities of Shell Energy India • Help the Team Lead in initiating and managing internal approvals & mandate taking process for negotiations of key agreements and transactions. • Help the Team Lead in developing and negotiating Term sheet / Heads of agreement / LNG sales agreement with the potential customers. • Develop relationships with hauliers and OEMs in order to create a positive atmosphere for adoption of LNG as an auto fuel. • Interact with industry, regulatory and other government bodies to track and influence development of enabling policies and regulations for increased LNG usage. • Create, maintain and share a robust data base of potential customers, partners and competitors covering business metrics, financial performance, growth strategies etc. Conduct market assessments and company analysis, review market intelligence, market research, industry publications, company presentations/reports, analyst reports etc. • Contribute to and help formulate customer / segment specific short term and long-term marketing and pricing strategies. • Monitor developments in the global LNG markets to assess their impact on the Indian gas market and active participation in natural gas, power and alternative fuels industry key events. • Work closely with the global DLNG team, - could , Business Development, Commercial and Regulatory teams in order to provide inputs and adopt best practices and share learnings across geographical and business boundaries.
Skills & Requirements:
We're keen to hear from you, if you're a strong team member with excellent communications skills and Champions Customer and Stakeholder Focus. A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science / Commerce. Post Graduate in Management (Finance, Economics, Operations) preferred. Fluency and high level of numeracy, analytical and problem-solving skills is desired, with influencing skills - external & internal relationships. An ability to communicate effectively over large geographical distances without supervisory position.
