Key responsibilities

Within shipping and logistics, proactive communication and information flow towards our customers is the key in ensuring transparency from End-to-End. In order to provide this service your main responsibilities are:

• Constant contact with your customers and partners responsible for transportation process.
• You will be responsible for end-to-end shipment monitoring, informing customers of missing information as well as anticipate possible deviations from the transport plan and provide solutions for the same.
• You will be focusing on the customer experience, which includes root cause analysis for dissatisfied customers and develop improvement opportunities.
• Actively build strong relationships with customers by a deep understanding of the respective businesses (commercial intelligence of industries in which the customers operate), people and opportunities.
• Take ownership and function as an advocate for your customers to all stakeholders within Maersk.

We are looking for

The ideal candidate is a driven fast learner, with a positive attitude who shows initiative and take ownership over client's cases, enjoy challenges. He/she has excellent communication skills and genuinely appreciates the interaction with other people as well as is are able to keep a cool head and a customer centric approach while getting things done.

The person we are looking for is able to take on multiple tasks with a sense of urgency and strives to deliver excellence in the details. We value the ability to identify improvement areas, take actions and implement appropriate solutions. The perfect candidate has experience from Logistics Supply Chain or equivalent education.

We expect that you are a strong team player able to prioritize workload in order to meet all required deadlines, while also able to work independently. We would appreciate an open mindset, a person who can give constructive feedback as well as welcomes feedback received from others.

Since the corporate language is English, proficiency in written and spoken English is a must. Dutch language is required. French is a plus.
