Key responsibilities

Maersk is building an IT Financial Management capability to be able to sustainability recharge IT cost to the business, view IT cost across the estate, and optimise spend in order to achieve greater business value and return on investment. With this aim we are setting up an IT Financial Management Office that will seat in our technology organisation - within the office of the CTIO - and will drive IT Financial Management activities and IT Financial Management capability development on a daily basis.

Working closely with the Office of the CTIO, the role will cover the delivery of Financial Planning and Control, Management Information and Continuous Improvement of processes and tooling (primarily ServiceNow).

They will own management and efficient running of the IT Financial Management tool. They will have the ability to leverage technical solutions to meet organisational needs . They will be highly analytical and translate the needs of the users into high quality IT systems. They will be the critical point of contact for system configuration, improvement, changes and systems issues.

The candidate needs to be able to interpret tooling requirements and design and build the backend configuration solution to produce the required outputs from the tool

•Develop and analyse functional specifications
•Build and manage new functionality and any required customisation in line with the standard practices defined for the tool
•Testing to ensure that any changes/ implementation is working effectively
•Overseeing and implementing system upgrade
•Work closely with the rest of the ITFM team to ensure that the requirements of the business are reflected in the build and output of the tool
•Building dashboards/ reports for representation of information to a cross section of stakeholders in the organisation
•Drive continuous improvement in the data structure and configuration for efficient running of complex models within the tool
•Maintain the health and integrity of the system in terms of system performance and security
•Maintain the technical specification documentation

We are looking for

•BSc in Computer Science or related field
•Previous experience of programming in Java , Visual Basic, C++
•Proven experience as a System Analyst
•Working knowledge of ITIL and ITSM practices
•Hands on experience with software development and documentation
•Previous experience of working with ServiceNow system is beneficial
•Previous work with Finance / Business Intelligence systems and Technology Business Management certification is also beneficial
•Exposure to shared services organisations with multi stakeholder structures
