Petrofac is currently looking to recruit a Control and Instrument Engineer to join our Bridge View Office.

Forming part of the Asset Delivery Team the key function is managing and supporting the maintenance of the offshore Control & Instrument Systems in support of the asset production delivery targets in conjunction as necessary with the maintenance system team lead of the technical team

Job Specific Duties:
  • Owning, directing and co-ordinating the execution of planned and corrective maintenance of control & instrumentation equipment and associated Systems in conjunction with operations personnel.
  • Implementing, integrating and reviewing planned maintenance programmes in order to meet the statutory and vendor requirements and ensuring all work is accurately recorded
  • Responsibility for review and reduction of related back logs and adherence to Divisional Deferral Management Procedure (as in BMS-AA-I-1123).
    Ensuring by audit that all relevant control & instrumentation overrides and inhibit logs, isolation registers & software are in accordance with operational procedures, safety principles, legal requirements and the
  • Global Override/Inhibit Procedure BMS-AA-I-1051 also that all registers are maintained accurately
  • Monitoring the performance, failures and serviceability of all plant control & instrumentation equipment and systems with appropriate reports on the activities.
  • Completing routine maintenance audits, supporting fault diagnosis, data quality input to maintenance history and providing technical support in the day to day activities including the installation of control & instrumentation equipment to defined standards

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelors Degree or equivalent and must be a member of IET or another relevant Institute. They must have proven experience in this position, can work to deadlines, communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
