Job Description


We, WND & Cold Chain product team of Maersk IT, are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop IT solution that support the business goal of aggressively growing and pursing emerging opportunities.

The Software Engineer will be responsible to develop several our core warehouse solutions including (but not limited to) WMS, Label & Scan, RFID, automation etc. that are (will be) widely used within Maersk's contract logistics and SCM (supply chain management) businesses, for both existing system change/enhancement and new system development. He or she will collaborate with business partners to understand the requirements, and collaborate with architect to deliver the development in compliance with the architectural principals.

(*Label and Scan is a (carton/item) scan solution by using a variety of technologies, e.g. RF scan, RFID, mobile and so on. It's a solution widely used in Maersk's warehouses)

Key responsibilities

Convert functional and technical requirements into system design.

Perform system development, enhancement and testing.

Provide support on UAT, implementation and post-implementation.

Work closely with UI/UX design team to deliver best user experience.

Prove out new technologies through proof of concept work.

We are looking for


Bachelor's degree of Computer Science or a related discipline.

5+ years of hands-on experience in software development.

In-depth knowledge and experience of database & SQL.

In-depth knowledge and experience of at least one major programming technology, Java, or Microsoft .Net, or C / C++, or Web development, or HTML5 / JavaScript / jQuery and so on.

Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.


Deep knowledge and experience with logistics industry

In-depth knowledge of mobile technologies and experience in developing mobile solution.

Good knowledge & experience with automation, IoT.
