Job Description

Responsible for assisting in the coordination and execution of health and safety programs, and ensuring compliance with Company and regulatory agency environmental policies and procedures. These responsibilities include implementation and oversight of projects in response to environmental and safety concerns as well as implementation of health and safety programs in all areas including, but not limited to regulatory compliance, incident investigations, inspections, training and incident response.
  • Responsible for overseeing all aspects of environmental, health and safety for Noble Energy operations in the Eagle Ford operating area.
  • Coordinates with operations teams and EHS leadership to identify needs and ensure compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations.
  • Supports Noble Energy environmental and safety programs and initiatives.
  • Provides training, support and technical assistance to field staff.
  • Supports incident investigations and agency reporting
  • Experience developing SPCC plans, obtaining environmental clearances, and an understanding of wildlife and environmental impacts & benefits
  • Supports development and implementation of the environmental, health and safety aspects of information management system.
  • Coordinates broad EHS program objectives for assigned areas
  • Coordinates with BU in the implementation & execution of EHS MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
  • Coordinates with the area/BU to develop local emergency response tactics
  • Coordinates with BU leaders to ensure their leadership in and support of EHS programs.
  • Leads EHS incident investigations
  • Reviews the accumulation and reporting of EHS Performance Measures and takes remedial action.
  • Serves as BU contact and advises on EHS related issues.
  • Oversees outside EHS contractors and consultants.
  • May develop and implement EHS programs and procedures.

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a safety or environmental related discipline.
  • Six or more years' experience supporting safety and environmental compliance in the oil and gas industry. Strong experience supporting drilling operations required
  • Familiarity with oilfield equipment and terminology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Effective oral and written communication
