We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Service team who is ready to own and manages the customer experience in all interactions with customers. This position is also expected to build relation with customers and delivering according to the commercial and operational targets defined by the reporting Manager. The incumbent is also responsible for the
polite communication of informed product specifications and premier customer service

Key responsibilities

•Build strong and lasting relationships with customers.

•Support the imports team initiatives in order to ensure a superior customer experience.

•Support the Cashier counters for cash collection and accurate posting on the systems.

•Be in charge of the Maldives related cashier activities and ensure that the accounting matters relating to Maldives is completed in a timely and an accurate manner.

•Engage in constructive problem resolution and provide solutions.

•Address root causes and seek continuous improvements - constantly look for ways to improve cashier/ counter activities.

•Work independently and assist the team in realizing goals and standards - share knowledge and best practices.
•Should drive initiatives to upsell Booking Management, CHB, Trucking etc and ensure Business is actualized within a stipulated timeframe.

We are looking for

•Fully/Part Professional Qualification OR Graduate

•Previous experience in shipping/ logistics preferable.

•An excellent team player and able to work under pressure

Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written)

Has the ability to handle complaints with a smile and is willing to build a long-term relationship with the customer. Is able to influence and persuade the customer and handle exception management. Has the ability to take ownership and work for early resolution and closure of customer issues. Works accurately with eye for detail and has empathy for the customer's situation.
