Key responsibilities

This position is responsible for assuring safe and efficient traffic flow within the warehouse. The Equipment Operator will lead a crew in the loading/unloading of freight using specified equipment by company provided means and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

•Report to supervisor for job and crew assignment
•Utilize written and verbal instructions and previously established guidelines to complete assigned responsibilities.
•Do daily forklift and RF (Radio Frequency) Unit inspection and report to supervisor
•Maintain safety rules at all times
•Maintain a clean and organized work area
•Ability to perform material handling duties such a lifting material weighing 25- 75 pounds
•Complete all necessary paperwork on-time, accurately and according to guidelines

We are looking for

Qualifications:

•High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; not required
•One year forklift driving experience with valid and up-to-date forklift driver certification
•Able to speak, read and write English
•Basic math skills
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to perform well with time-sensitive tasks; multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
•Regular attendance and punctuality
•Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends is required
•Overtime may be required
•Ability to lift material weighing 50 pounds, occasionally weighing up to 75 pounds
