Role Summary: As a key member of the Sourcing & Procurement team, TheProcurement Hub Leader will be responsible for developing, implementing,communicating and managing Western Hemisphere Operations Procurement activitiesand initiatives at the Hub. In addition, the Procurement Hub Leader coordinatesand manages their team to be optimal and successful by understanding thepurchasing process and working with internal stakeholders to understand theirneeds. The Procurement Hub Leader is the key point of contact for operations onall purchase order process related escalations, and reports. The ProcurementHub Leader acts as a mentor and coach to all Lead Procurement Specialist in theorganization. The Procurement Hub Leader is also responsible for the complianceof all standard Baker Hughes OFS procurement processes and policies. Thisposition is part of the Operations Supply Chain organization. Essential Responsibilities: In the role of The Procurement Hub Leader you will: Work with all the relevant stakeholders, execute improvementprojects aligned with initiatives such as: Procure to pay simplification and improvements: Appliesstand-alone knowledge of purchasing practices, principles and procedures. Compliance - Ensure compliance of purchasing processes Inventory Netting - Focus on Inventory Netting opportunities Meet KPIs - Plan & Work towards achieving Annual Dashboardtargets Oversees moderately complex procurement projects and activities. Oversees the mining and analysis of data in support of buyers andmanagement and provides required feedback. Monitors BHGE and supplier compliance and performance againstestablished contracts and processes. Summarizes findings and recommendationsand discusses them with Global Sourcing Organization. Provide Supervision, Leadership & Develop Sourcing &Procurement skillsets within the Procurement team Qualifications/Requirements: Below are the requiredqualifications for Lead Procurement Specialist. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university. 7+years in procurement, sourcing or similar experience, including 2+ years ofexperience in a leadership role. Process/systems mindset & Proven ability to manage and executeprojects Diverse Knowledge of OFS Operations procurement practices highlyrecommended Strong analytical skills and experience in converting data touseful information Proven Ability to communicate & collaborate effectively at alllevels of the organization Demonstrated ability to effectively write and speak in English,Spanish, and Portuguese Desired Characteristics: Not required butadditional preferred elements Experience in the Procure-to-pay process or other initiativesidentified above APICS certification Familiarity with SAP Demonstrated change agent Customer-focused and results-oriented Ability to work, motivate and influence in a cross-functional,multi-site, global team environment BHGE OFS Product Line knowledge helpful Location:Bogota, Colombia Reportsto: Global Procurement Director About Us: At Baker Hughes, we are transforming the future of energy.
