DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Refurbishment and preparation of Claxton purchase and rental equipment in accordance to Claxton procedures. Refurbishment and preparation of Clients equipment in accordance to Claxton procedures. Preparation of new equipment for use offshore. Preparing equipment and tools for job load-outs, as per Claxton procedures. Service Claxton and Clients own equipment, as per Claxton procedures. Maintenance and upkeep of all provided protective equipment and tooling. General housekeeping of all workshop areas. Deliveries and collections to/ from clients and suppliers. Provide for out of hours cover on a rota basis. Required Skills You will be educated to GCSE level and ideally have some form of mechanical engineering accreditation. Demonstrable competencies in tooling and fitting techniques are essential as well as in torqueing, tensioning and pressure testing are desirable. You should hold a valid forklift truck licence and preferably have completed slinger/banksman training. The following training courses would be advantageous: NDT - MPI, DPI - ASNT 2 Fork lift license (up to 16 Tonne) Slinger / banksman training ECITB MJI Bolt Torque/g Working at Height Overhead crane Training IOSH Managing safely Training Required Experience You will have previous experience within the oil industry and therefore be familiar with equipment and equipment procedures - from both a technical and health and safety prospective.
